1. Data collected
OverSong only collects data necessary for the service to function:
- Discord or Google profile info (username, email, avatar)
- Spotify data (display name, email, account type, currently playing)
- OAuth tokens (stored securely, never shared)
2. Data usage
Your data is used exclusively to display your currently playing music in your OBS widget, personalize your experience (themes, styles), and maintain your login session.
3. Data sharing
We never sell, share, or rent your personal data to third parties. Spotify data is used only via the official Spotify API under their terms.
4. Security
All connections use OAuth 2.0. Your passwords are never transmitted to us. Tokens are stored securely in the database.
5. Data deletion
To request deletion of your data, contact us. Your account and all associated data will be deleted within 72 hours.
